Sally has dreamed of the stage and has managed to surround herself completely with the dramatic arts. She is the Artistic Director of Coup de Theatre Atlanta, but is first and foremost an actress. She has been involved with stage theatre since childhood. She has been in a numerous amount of elementary, middle, and high school plays. Her senior year at Dacula High School, she performed for her first time ever at the One-Act Competitions. She received an award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Helga Ten Dorp in Deathtrap in the Sub-Region Division. She then went on to compete at regions, where as the play itself did not move on to State Competitions, Sally was still awarded the honor of being recognized as an “All Star Cast Member” for that same role. After high school graduation she began working with community theatres like The Actor’s Scene in Buford Georgia, and County Seat Players in Gwinnett, where she also served as a board member before transitioning to the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Coup De Theatre Atlanta. She has also done some work with Brenau University, where she performed in The Vagina Monologues. Sally has a background in dance as well. Some of her training includes Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, and Musical Theatre. All of her dance training is from North Georgia Dance and Music Factory in Dacula, Ga. Sally has also been trained in voice at the North Georgia Dance and Music Factory. Asside from working with CDT Sally is a new teacher with Let’s Pretend, an after school acting program for children. Sally enjoys spending all her free time with the theatre and she has very high expectations for the future of Coup de Theatre Atlanta.
